About this guide
Who pays for Whose Room
Whose Room is paid for by three links on its home page, each marked Ad. Nothing else pays for the site, and none of the casinos it describes pays for any of it.

Three links, one partner
Paid links appear on the home page of Whose Room and nowhere else. There are three, each marked Ad. One sits in the menu. A second is in a block just below the first screen. The third is in a block near the end of the page.
All three lead to the same online casino partner. The site earns a commission from that partner. That partner can change, and no page names it.
Inner pages carry no paid links: not the sixteen casino pages, not the area pages and not this one.
What the partner is not
The partner behind the paid links is a private online casino. It is not PlayNow, and it is not run or licensed by the province. It has no connection with BCLC, the IGCO, any casino operator or owner, or any casino in this guide. PlayNow.com is the only legal online gambling site in British Columbia.
A BC resident who plays there has none of the provincial protections. PlayNow limits and Game Break do not apply on that site. Complaints about it cannot go to the IGCO.
Who never pays
Casinos, operators, owners, BCLC, the province and help services never pay this site. That includes Gateway and Great Canadian, which run casinos, and Petroglyph and Musqueam Capital, named as owners. Links to any of them are never paid, and none carries the Ad label.
The graph that links owners to rooms by year shows the same record whoever pays for the site. A change of partner on the home page does not change a date, a sale or a name in it.
Questions
Do casino owners pay to appear on Whose Room?
No casino owner pays to appear here. Operators, BCLC, the province and help services never pay the site either, and links to them are never paid. The record of who owns and who runs each room is written the same way for every casino.
Why is the online casino partner not named?
The partner can change, and the site does not name it. The three links marked Ad on the home page all lead to that same partner. The site earns a commission from it, and from no one else.
Are there paid links on this page?
This page carries no paid links. Only the home page carries them: three links, each marked Ad, one in the menu, one just below the first screen and one near the end.
